Join me, as I spend 7 days re-organising my entire workshop, in an attempt to resolve a few issues and achieve the ULTIMATE workshop layout which maximises infeed and outfeed space at machines, co-locates all my large machines together to enable efficient dust extraction and generally have a de-clutter and clear out! There will ofcourse be a few problems to overcome!

Two Stage Dust Extraction: SURPRISING RESULTS!!

In this video I set up a two stage dust extraction system, and run some tests with an anemometer to assess what really impacts performance and airflow. All in the hope that it will outperform my old 1hp extractor which was really struggling to cope with chips created by my planer thicknesser. The results are surprising, and I learned a lot! I use an HVLP extractor for collecting chips and dust from my planer thicknesser and tablesaw cabinet. I use a vacuum LVHP extractor for dust collection from all my other tools.

I had a long list of things I want to change about my workshop - and in this video I'm ticking off as many of them as possible! Solving My Workshop Dust Problems

I have dust extraction problems! Particularly with my HVLP extractor, but I realised I could also improve the set up for my vacuum extractor too.
