WFFT - Interior - Change Colour - Moderate Durability - Options

You chose interior, change colour, moderate durability

Wax stains are a great option as they are an all in one colour and wood finish solution.

Easy to apply, Wood should be sanded up to no higher than 150 grit prior to applying.

Can be applied to bare wood or over any existing finishes but if using multiple different finishes it should only ever be used last - i.e. should never be applied before any other type of finish.

Apply using a clean cotton cloth, 0000 steel wool or a paint brush and wipe away excess.

Minimal buffing just to remove excess wax.  More buffing = more sheen.

Please be aware, the colour that can be achieved will depend on the species of wood that you are applying it to - it's always best to use a scrap piece of the same material to test out the colour before fully committing when possible.
