In this video I work on restoring a vintage cocktail cabinet as a commission for a client. The old finish was badly scratched and I needed to scrape and sand and add a new finish to rejuvenate the wood veneer (which I think is walnut). I also needed to repair a few dings, stop the drawer from sticking and lube up the metal components to get everything running smoothly.  Before and after pics at the end of the video

In this video I make a pair of solid hardwood bedside tables, or night stands using only one hand - my "non-dominant" left hand for a challenge set by Leo Winstanley at the Hand-I-Craft YouTube channel.

This build is made entirely from salvaged materials - the oak came from some old kitchen cabinet doors taken from our house renovation, and the mahogany was salvaged from a church refurbishment site a few years ago.

In this video I make a storage trunk box for our bedroom. This woodworking project was all about hiding some pipes in a wall, but the box will also provide some storage space for bed sheets etc. and it's a good height for use as a seat.  The main box was made using offcuts of walnut veneered MDF left over from a dartboard cabinet commission that I made for a client a few months back.  The solid wood trim is a mystery wood, but it might be Iroko...?
