Making A Desk For My Fiancé #AD

In this video I'm working on a DIY custom desk project for my fiancé Ria, which will act as both a "work" desk and a dressing table all in one. Since recently becoming a permanent homeworker, Ria needed a nice desk to work from. She had quite a specific idea about what she wanted, and how it would look - and wanted to incorporate some solid wood to make it less "officey" and give it more of a homely "furniture" feel, so I used some solid beech for the frame and drawer fronts, and made the rest from Medite SMARTPLY's moisture resistant MDF. There were a few challenges along the way! #Ad - This video is brought to you in partnership with MEDITE SMARTPLY Check out the Medite SMARTPLY member's area here for more information about their products, technical advice, plus your chance to win some excellent prizes!!! .
